STR - Microprocessor-based
relay for motor protection 49-50-51R-46-37-66-50N-51N
Description
The relay STR is intended for the complete protection of high power motors with
medium voltage or low voltage supply. Several protection functions incorporated in a
single relay assure the protection of the motor against all the different fault
conditions; overheating caused by mechanical overload or by an abnormal supply, locked
rotor, too long starting, interruption of one phase conductor, current unbalance, short
circuit between phases, short circuit between turns, earth fault, underload running, too
frequent startings.

SSG
50-51-67-50N-51N-59N-67N
Feeder directional/non directional phase and earth overcurrent digital relay
DESCRIPTION
The relays type SSG are intended for the protection against overloads, short circuits and earth faults in radial networks, ring mains or variable structure networks.
The relay features the following characteristics:
* directional and not directional functions for both overcurrent and earth fault protections;
* phase lock loop circuit with memory of the reference voltage for the directional functions (67);
* protection functions and final relays fully programmable;
* selectable operation curves with independent or dependent time both for the overcurrent and for the earth fault
functions.

NTG Generator multifunction protection relay
DESCRIPTION
The NTG digital protection relay integrates a number of functions required for the protection of generators. It is used in power stations from gas, steam, hydraulic turbine, or diesel driven generators, operating in parallel with the public grid and/or in isolation and with any neutral state and grid layout.
According to the hardware configurations BASIC and PRO, the NTG protection relay can be shipped with different sets of protection functions.
NTG performs the following protection functions:
21-51V Underimpedance or Voltage-controlled overcurrent protection
24 Overexcitation (V/Hz)
26 Thermal protection by 8 PT100 thermometric probes
27 Undervoltage
27H-59H Third harmonic Under/Overvoltage (100% stator ground)
32 Directional power
32R Reverse power
37P Underpower
40 Loss of Field
46 Negative sequence overcurrent
49 Thermal overload
50/51 Overcurrent
50+27 Switch onto standstill (InadvertentEnergizing)
50G/51G-87N Neutral overcurrent (90% stator ground in current) or, alternatively, high impedance restricted earth fault.

SCF - Microprocessor-based
synchronising relay 25
Description
The relay type SCF is
intended for synchronising of generator units and paralleling to the network. Several
functions which are necessary to carry out the paralleling are accomodated in a single
relay. The design is based on a microprocessor to assure a high degree of adaptivity and
ease of use.
