EQUI-PRO

Features Equi-Pro
The Equi-Pro is designed to suppress noise contamination of dedicated earthing systems for electronic equipment and, at the same time, maintain equal potentials between these systems and the raw mains earth.
Both these factors are critical to prevent malfunctions and damage occuring to sensitive instrumentation and control equipment, particularly those located in industrial environments. A further feature incorporated into the Equi-Pro is that, should there be a sudden and serious potential rise in one of the earthing systems, due perhaps to a nearby lightning strike, this will immediately activate a device which bypasses the circuitry, thereby ensuring a low impedance path between the systems for the duration of the
overvoltage.

PLC-PRO

Features PLC-Pro
This DIN rail mounting system offers compact, powerful and economical protection for multiple low-voltage conductor pairs. The 10kA rated mini plug-in modules can be simply replaced without disconnecting the equipment circuitry. Each module protects one conductor pair and the base section is sized to suit the number of modules required per system.
*No disconnection of equipment when changing modules
*Economical and compact design
*Fully-graded protection per module
*Wide range of applications
Range
Low-Voltage Protection
PLC-PR
The PLC-PR offers excellent common and differential mode suppression characteristics. It is designed for use with semi-floating, low to medium frequency circuits (up to 20kHz) which carry currents up to 450mA at a range of voltages from 5 to 48 Volts DC (3 to 32 Volts AC rms 50Hz). Typical applications for this device would be loop powered instrumentation and 4 – 20mA signals.
PLC-PL
This unit has similar suppression characteristics to the PLC-PL, but is designed for use with semi-floating DC or low frequency circuits (up to 10kHz). It has a lower DC series impedance and can handle steady state currents up to 1Amp. A typical application for this range of devices would be semi floating DC power supplies.

CER-PRO

Features Cer-Pro
The Cer-Pro isolates spark gap against direct lightning strokes.
Applications
Isolation of earthings
*Isolation of earthings for cathodically protected tanks
*Isolation of signal and building earths
When overvoltages occure the isolating spark gap connect earths which normally must be separated. The appearance of inadmissible potential differences is thus avoided and the lightning current is discharged to earth without causing any damage.
*Surge protection for aerials
*Surge protection for other systems, for example emergency telephone stations, exposed to direct lightning
