These powerful transient suppression devices are designed to afford a high degree of protection to equipment using RS232/V.24 protocol. All standard suppressors are fitted with 25 pin, sub-miniature 'D' type connectors. A plug is fitted to a flexible lead for connection to the equipment and a socket is built into the housing for connection to the incoming data lines.

The Data-Pro RS232 Dongle is uses to protect data lines using the RS232/V.24 protocol. They handle data rates in excess of 20kbps with insertion losses of less than 0.1dB. These devices are fitted with DB25 connectors, of which the male (plug) would be connected to the equipment side and the female (socket) would be connected to the line side. The unit is also available with the DB25 genders reversed.

The Data-Pro 100 Base T transient suppression devices are used to protect LAN systems using UTP conductors. These in-line devices handle data rates in excess of 100Mbps fully duplexed with insertion losses of less than 0.5dB and are fitted with Category 5 RJ45 male/female connectors. They are available in either stand-alone or 19" rack-mount units which can be selectively loaded up to 16 ports.
